The Following Basic Rules Apply.

 

1. It is NOT A RACE!!!! In the event of willful speed and safety violations certifications will not be granted and the applicant will be reported to the IBA HQ. The SECRET is in a steady speed with minimum stops and each stop as short as possible.


2. Always choose the Safest Route that YOU can find to do an IBA Challenge
3. NEVER PAY a 3rd Party to do or submit Applications for Certification on your behalf.

A VERY VERY IMPORTANT RULE:

Where you "change direction" during a ride where a short cut could have been taken to your next reference point ALWAYS get a slip (preferably a fuel slip) with date time and locality to prove that you did not take the short cut. eg. You leave from Cape Town and will be riding through Touws River but you are leaving the N1 at Worcester to pass through Montague and then back to the N1 you have to have proof of both Worcester and Montague (Ashton).

INCLUDE ALL FUEL SLIPS FOR YOUR RIDE!!! The best proof is ALWAYS a petrol slip as the fuel station`s name, date and time is automatically printed and cannot be forged. {Yes there are riders that "forge" slips" 🙁 }

 

PLEASE USE THE FORMAT AS PROVIDED IN THE DOCUMENTS POSTED IN THIS FORUM AS I`m NOT GETTING PAID TO DO THIS AND ANY OTHER FORMAT MAKES IT TIME CONSUMING AND PRONE TO ERRORS.
